What Is daGeek?
On daGeek users obsess about things they passionately love or hate. They find their "twins" - people who share their uniqueness - and use them to discover: paintings, movies, music, books, hotels, restaurants, travel spots.. the list goes on.
daGeek is equally about content discovery and the matching of people for fun and relationships.daGeek is the successor of a website called Tellmetwin.
In fall 2007 Tellmetwin was founded and a year later it went live on the web.
In April 2009 Tellmetwin won the prestigious Red Herring Award as a Top 100 European Technology Company.
In Spring 2010 the name was changed to daGeek and a new and improved version of the website was released. The core concept was still the same, only the outer focus was shifted. This time people were encouraged more than ever to use daGeek as a platform to express their eccentricity and embrace their geek-ism - to us, these are the really interesting people.
